Quantas A380 Uk Launch animations & stills - steve wilson

Description
I was commissioned by agency The Liquid Way to produce stills and animations of the new Qantas A380. The animations were shown at the Imax theatre in Waterloo, London as part of the launch campaign for Qantas. I had to create textures, model and light the scenes ready for render which was completed with an in-house render farm. The client was very pleased with the final result.

Personal Projects
This is a personal project, designed to test out modeling, lighting, materials and rendering techniques. The entire project took about 3 months to complete whilst working on other projects. The project involved measuring and photographing every object in the scene and modeling and texturing from scratch.

Honda Accord 2008 UK Launch
Working for London agency, Collective London, I was asked to produce renders for the new Honda Accord 2008 launch. I had to produce paint shaders and tyre/chrome shaders using vray and 3d studio max. Animations were also produced to illustrate the various qualities of the new car. The project lasted 5 months and a large amount of renders were produced to allow a user visiting the Honda website to add optional extras to their car and see the final result. Direction for this project was taken from Collective London.
